1. SOCKET CLOSED - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Last time I got a string of these disconnects I found that powering down and restarting my hub fixed it. I've also found in the past that I started getting this alot of these errors on one laptop after it's wireless card started to play up.

What about if the ecm activation/process itself left the source ship/drone target-able. So you'd always have the ability to shoot the ecm drones or ship projecting it. You wouldn't be able to lock any other targets but at least you'd have a chance...

Personally I'd like to see an expansion in the number of combat sites found through exploration. Getting the same handful of sites per faction or security level means that unless I'm moving around a lot I just get the same sites over and over. I'...

Last time I tried this, all of the ships I destroyed dropped yellow wrecks and loot. So in some sense they are the mission runners no matter who shoots them. Didn't stop me stealing the contents though. :-)

I can't find a definitive CCP quote to point you at but I believe from my exploration experience that as soon as you have activated a salvager/codebreaker/analyzer on a container in the site you can't leave without it very quickly despawning.

How about trying out the 'mulitplayer' part of MMO. You're suppost to work together with other players to protect your freighter. and of course carry less in your hold !
